| Biography |
My name is Ashley Cuevas and I have grown up being surrounded by animals. Having this kind of upbringing has molded who I am and has given me a love for all animals. Over the years I have owned many types of animals from hampsters to dogs and even a potbelly pig. I also have experience with birds, horses, goats, multiple other farm animals and even monkey's. So having been involved in caring for animals from a young age has made me want nothing more than to have a career that involved them. Throughout my life I have also taken many art courses mostly involving sculpture and ceramics. My passion for art was something that I took into consideration when thinking of a career that would suit me. So putting the two things that I love and have dedicated much of my life to together made for something that sounded very exciting to me. I realized that by grooming I could work with animals and use my creativity to make each animal I groom a work of art. Merryfield has been a great school and has allowed me to learn from some amazing instructors. Each day that I go to school I learn something new and am inspired to keep working towards my goals. I look forward to making grooming an enjoyable and long lasting career for myself as well as making it a pleasant experience for both pets and their owners. |
